MN.2023.1.0 Software and Firmware Release

We are pleased to announce the general availability of the major software release MN.2023.1.0, which includes both software and firmware updates with key new features listed below. For further information, please refer to the Release Notes.

New in Command Enterprise Server and Command Client

SSO & 2-factor authentication – Using Google or Microsoft Authenticator.
Analytics – Object metadata integration to March Networks cameras and 3rd party devices via ONVIF M, including tracking analytics in Command Client.
Seproban CI – New 720p & 1080p resolutions for images sent to Seproban. Option to automatically select the best resolution for cameras with 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio. Mexican banking regulatory compliance with native SFTP support.

New in Web Client

New look – Modern UI that provides more intuitive navigation.
Performance – Enhanced video streaming and playback performance.
Login – Single sign-on (SSO) and 2-factor authentication when enabled in CES.
One-stop – Single pane of glass experience to more March Networks applications. Operations Audit images now available from web client interface. Evidence Vault & Searchlight Cloud accessed directly from web client interface. MP4 video export.

New in Command Mobile Plus

Login – Support for SSO & 2-factor authentication when enabled in CES.
Audio – Support on Android devices.

New in Evidence Vault

Playback – Support for playback of CME video files.
Login – SSO support for standalone deployment.
Audit logging – Maintain accurate records.

New in Searchlight Cloud

Cases – Create a case in CES directly from Searchlight Cloud.
Layout – Video grid with side-by-side transaction receipt view for quicker investigation.
Reporting – Statistical and historical search reporting of objects New Loss Prevention Metrics reports for quick identification of suspect transactions.

New X-Series All IP Recorder (IPX)

We are delighted to introduce the X-Series All IP Recorder (IPX), available in 32, 48, and 64-channel models.

For customers who are planning an all-IP installation, and require a powerful recorder with high throughput, the X-Series All IP Recorder accommodates up to 64 IP cameras and provides a total bandwidth capacity of 600 Mbps. The IPX recorder delivers high-definition video and AI-enabled architecture that supports future analytic applications and is ideal for enterprise-level organizations that need additional video capacity and higher throughput.

Like all March Networks recorders, this IT server-grade appliance offers rock-solid reliability thanks to its embedded Linux OS, hot-swap redundant power supplies, and configurable RAID. All HDDs are accessible via the front panel for hassle-free replacement and each drive is equipped with its own locking mechanism to prevent unauthorized access.
