Mandatory Service Pack for 8000 and 9000 Series Recorders

An issue has been detected that may result in video mistakenly being purged from 8000 Series and 9000 Series video recorders. This issue is only present when the feature “limit the retention of all evidence data on device” has been enabled in the Administrator Console.

As a result, the 8000 and 9000 Series recorder purge algorithm will mistakenly delete a camera file from archived video, resulting in video gaps on occasion. This issue is present in the following releases: 5.11.0; 5.12.0; 5.13.0; 5.14.0.

The issue can be corrected with the software service packs listed below. Please ensure that you download and apply the correct service pack in your customer deployments, as required.
