8000 Series Minimum Software Shipment Level Change
March Networks is updating the version of Visual Intelligence software shipped on our 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs, excluding the 8724 V Tribrid NVR, as of November 1, 2019.
Currently, the 8000 Series recorders ship with Visual Intelligence Release 5.8.1. Effective November 1, all new 8000 Series recorders (excluding the 8724 V), as well as recorders shipped following repairs, will be delivered with Visual Intelligence Release 5.11.0 SP3.
To prepare for this change, please work with your customers to upgrade their environments to meet the minimum software versions.

March Networks can assist you in moving customers to Visual Intelligence Release 5.11.0 SP3 with an upgrade strategy, if required.
Going forward, the minimum version of software shipped on our recorders will be updated on an 18-24 month cycle. We will provide you with advance notice of all minimum shop level changes prior to implementation.
