Can you make configuration changes to an 8000 or 9000 series recorder using Command Client?

Unfortunately no, you must use Admin Console to configure all of the Visual Intelligence recorder settings. Some network and port settings may be changed via the provisioning interface using SSH software.

Command Client is a thich client (since version 5.8 and later) used to view live and archived video as well as export media from the recorders.
