Reminder: Software, Server EOLs and 8000 Series Minimum Ship Level Change

As previously communicated, as of January 1, 2020, we will no longer provide bug fixes, maintenance releases, workarounds, patches or security vulnerability fixes for issues found in these software and firmware releases, listed in the following End-of-Life bulletin.

Additionally, as of January 1, 2020, the Command Enterprise Server will be declared End-of-Life and will no longer be available for order. It will continue to be supported by the third-party supplier (Dell) for up to 3 years, until January 1, 2023, per March Networks’ standard warranty policy.

8000 Series Minimum Ship Level Change
As well, we are updating the version of Visual Intelligence software shipped on our 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs, excluding the 8724 V Tribrid NVR, as of November 1, 2019. Effective this date, all new 8000 Series recorders (excluding the 8724 V), as well as recorders shipped following repairs, will be delivered with Visual Intelligence Release 5.11.0 SP3.

To prepare for this change, please ensure that your partners upgrade their customers’ environments to meet the minimum software versions. If required, March Networks can assist in moving customers to Visual Intelligence Release 5.11.0 SP3 with an upgrade strategy.
